• Reflect your style in your home office. This means putting artwork on the walls, use fresh flowers, invest in beautiful accessories such as a nice rug. Think of working in your home office as a treat and a pleasure. Make the atmosphere of your home office as pleasant as possible.
   
• Think comfort first. Invest in a great ergonomic chair, a nice cushy chair and ottoman for reading, good lighting and good computer equipment.
     
• Your home office should flow with the rest of your house. Don't make it an afterthought. Make it personable and warm.
     
• By eliminating clutters, keeping things organized and separate from the rest of the home, you will create the division of space between work and home. Use the least-used room for your office if possible. If a separate room is not possible, the next option is the dining room or the living room, as in most cases these are the rooms you will use the least.
